Gary Grubbs (born November 14, 1949) is a well-known American actor with a significant number of film and television credits to his name, including his portrayal of attorney Al Oser in Oliver Stone’s JFK. He is also recognized for his role as George Russell on The Wonderful World of Disney’s 1988 miniseries “Davy Crockett: Rainbow in the Thunder” starring Tim Dunigan. Grubbs has landed several recurring television roles, including notable characters in Growing Pains and Will & Grace. He also portrayed CIA agent Timothy Jarret McReady in the 2001 film Double Take. More recently, he has appeared in a recurring role on the final season of The O.C. and made cameo appearances on the WB series Angel as Fred’s father, Roger Burkle. Currently, he has a recurring role on Treme as Richard Desautel, father of chef Janette Desautel (Kim Dickens). He resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with his wife, Glenda, and their two children, Molly and Logan.
