After battling with an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years, Suzanne Summers peacefully departed, as confirmed by her publicist in a statement.
The husband of Suzanne Summers, Alan Hamel, presented a handwritten letter to the “Three’s Company” star a day before her passing.
This heartfelt gesture was part of an early birthday gift, ahead of her anticipated 77th birthday on October 16.
According to her publicist R. Couri Hay, Hamel “gave it to her a day early and she read the poem and went to bed and later died peacefully in her sleep.”
The note, written in all caps, was delicately wrapped in pink peonies.
The letter began with a beautiful expression, delving into the depth of love and affection shared between them.
Following her nuptials with Alan in 1977, Suzanne Summers is survived by her three children and six grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
