BIOGRAPHY
Leslie Richard Howard, better known as Arliss Howard , is an American actor and director, born on October 18, 1954, in Independence, Missouri. Howard grew up in Kansas City, where he spent his nights listening to Royals baseball games, thanks to a radio his sister won in a contest. There he also studied at Truman High School, having his first exposure to acting and theater. Eventually, he concentrated on acting, studying at Columbia College in his hometown. Although he began to participate in theater and in small productions that were taking place in his city, he decided that the best thing for his career was to move to California, where he began to work in small roles in series and some feature films, until he stood out, in the 1990s. the 90s and early 2000s in films such as Natural Born Killers (1994), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Amistad (1997) and in the series Medium (2005-2007), where he also directed some episodes. In recent years, Howard has participated in the series Manhunt: Unabombre (2020) and in the film Mank (2020) by David Fincher.
