Kogi Gov condoles with Anambra, Ndigbo over Ezeife’s death


Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello expressed his condolences to the government and people of Anambra, as well as Ndigbo, following the passing of Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Onogwu Mohammed, in Lokoja on Friday, Bello conveyed his deep shock and sadness at the news of Ezeife’s death. He also extended his sympathies to the family of the deceased and described Ezeife as a revered leader and elder statesman, emphasizing his significant contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape. Bello praised Ezeife’s wisdom, integrity, and dedication to national unity and good governance, highlighting the impactful leadership the former governor provided. Additionally, Bello recounted a positive interaction with Ezeife in 2021, during which the elder statesman commended his political trajectory and described him as a bold and enterprising politician.
