BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Bordeaux, Marylin Lima took her first steps in the cinema somewhat by chance at the age of 21 in the sulphurous Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story) . It was after finding her blog and her photos that director Eva Husson contacted her to offer her the role of George, a 16-year-old teenager who leads her group of friends into a perverse game that pushes the limits of their sexuality. This performance earned him an appearance on the list of César Revelations.
Her career then continued on television where she appeared in the television films Between Two Mothers and Intimate Connection . But it is above all the Skam series which allows him to achieve notoriety. Adapted from a Norwegian format of the same name which is a real phenomenon among adolescents, Skam follows the daily lives of high school students by tackling themes such as cyberbullying, depression, bipolarity and even homosexuality. The episodes have the particularity of being revealed on the internet throughout the week through sequences of two to eight minutes before being shown in their entirety at the end of the week. On the set she met her companion, the actor Michel Biel . In 2019, she announced that she was leaving the series at the end of season 4.
The following year, she played the title role of A Mermaid in Paris , which tells the story of the impossible love between a singer ( Nicolas Duvauchelle ) and a mermaid.
