María Regina Blandón Marrón was born in Mexico City, on July 25, 1990. Daughter of the renowned Mexican actor Roberto Blandón, Regina had the desire to be an actress from a very young age. Barely at the age of 12, she debuted in what would become one of her most recognized roles: Bibi P. Luche, the “rare” girl on Mexican television, in the popular Mexican series La familia P. Luche , alongside Eugenio. Derbez and Consuelo Duval. In 2003, she participated in the film El Misterio de la Trinidad , by director José Luis García Agraz, alongside actors Eduardo Palomo, Rebecca Jones and Alejandro Parodi, where she received an Ariel Award nomination in the category of best female co-acting. . The actress also participated in the soap opera Miss XV and in several episodes of the series La Rosa de Guadalupe and Los Simuladores . Regina has also worked in the theater, participating in important plays such as Today I Can’t Get Up, La Caja, Bright Ideas and Los Bonobos . In 2013 she became one of the hosts of the series Me Caigo de Larisa . In 2016, she participated in the horror film La Niña de la Mina and the Comedy Central series Drunk History . Regina Blandón’s career has been on the rise and she can be seen in theater, film and streaming. In 2020 she could be seen starring in The Story of a Crime: The Search , where she played a journalist investigating the death of a Mexican girl inside the residence where she lived. That same year she participated again in Mirreyes contra Godínez , one of the highest-grossing Mexican comedies, this time in her Christmas special. Additionally, she provided her voice for the character of Eep in The Croods 2 (2020).
