Remain committed, loyal – HoS Yemi-Esan charges civil servants


The call to remain committed and loyal to the civil service has been made by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Folasade Yemi-Esan. She is urging civil servants at both national and sub-national levels to contribute to the pride of the service. Yemi-Esan emphasized the importance of engaging in Public-Private-Partnerships (PPPs) to expedite various activities for effective and noticeable service delivery outcomes at the state level. Her address took place at the Opening Ceremony of the 45th Meeting of the National Council on Establishments (NCE) in Bauchi.
The HoSF attributed the attained successes to the seamless implementation of the six pillars of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP25) and Public-Private-Partnerships. She emphasized that the aggressive approach to making FCSSIP 25 work through funding, communication, sensitization, stakeholders’ engagements, and buy-in is leading to the transformation of the civil service for accelerated national growth. Furthermore, Yemi-Esan disclosed that the OHCSF is partnering with the private sector to elevate the Service to a world-class standard. She highlighted the significance of encouraging Civil Servants in states to apply and participate in the ongoing LEAD-P program provided by the Federal Government aimed at enhancing their leadership skills.
During the event, the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, also urged civil services across the country to form a strong alliance with the OHCSF to facilitate development and service delivery throughout Nigeria.
