After a prolonged battle with illness, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, Nigeria’s tallest man, has passed away at the age of 48.
Afeez, who stood at 7 ft 4, had been unwell for several months due to chronic hip arthritis. He sought financial assistance to undergo surgery but unfortunately faced complications soon after.
Reports indicate that he was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, yesterday evening, June 14, due to worsening health conditions. Tragically, he passed away around 7:30pm that night.
