For the foreseeable future, at least until something big has happened in her career, Eve Mavrakis will be defined by her relationship with Ewan McGregor, but before she became the British actor’s wife, she was an outstanding production designer who has worked on film sets. Eve was born on June 22, 1966 in Dordogne, France. She was born into a Jewish immigrant family in France and also has Greek roots. She is said to be of Greek-Sephardic Jewish descent.
Not much is known about his life before he started the film industry, with details of his upbringing and family currently unknown. The importance of public information about her began with her adult life when she worked as an assistant art director on the Academy Award-winning film, Dangerous Liaisons. Due to her Chinese descent, Eve Mavrakis worked with Steven Spielberg for some time in her youth. Empire of the Sun, a 1987 film.
She proved her skill working on these films, and so was appointed art director for an episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles in 1993. The following year, Eve Mavrakis became production designer for the film, Bandit Queen. . Other films Eve Mavrakis has worked on include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels which was released in 1998, Innocent Sleep which was released in 1996 and Imagine Me and You, a 2005 film.
While for most of her filmography (which spanned most of the 90s and early 2000s), she worked as an art director and production designer. A lot of those movies were just jobs for her. A project that certainly changed his life was that of the British television show Kavanagh QC. It was on the show that she met Ewan McGregor, who would later become her husband.

According to the couple at the time, they were still in love, Ewan, who had a notorious reputation as a womanizer, fell in love the moment he laid eyes on Eve Mavrakis. The two met on the show’s set in 1995 and began dating soon after. They finally married on July 22, 1995, a month after Eve’s birthday.
For the most part, their marriage was awesome. Married in a French village, their romantic relationship was strengthened by the arrival of their first child, Clara Mathilde, in 1996. The couple would later have three other daughters, two biological and one adopted. Their biological children, Esther Rose and Anouk were born in 2001 and 2011 respectively, and the couple adopted their fourth child in June 2001.
Due to his charm and excellent looks, Ewan has often been linked with his female co-stars, but nothing was concrete and damaging until he starred in Fargo and met Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The two, who were the main cast of the show, hooked up and were caught hiding in a cafe in October 2017.
The photo controversy led to an unfortunate Instagram post, Clara Mathilde, Eve’s eldest daughter, calling Mary Winstead “garbage.” Following the incident, the couple separated, with McGregor filing for divorce in January 2018 and eventual divorce in May 2018.
