BIOGRAPHY
Jon Abrahams is an American comedy actor and director known for his roles in the parody film Scary Movie . Abrahams comes from a family of artists and actors, so he was soon attracted to the craft, which he began to practice at a very young age in plays or school productions. He made his screen debut with the nineties film Kids, Lost Lives (1995), which competed for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival the same year it was released. A few years later he appeared in Scary Movie ( 2000 ), a comedy for adults that satirized the clichés of contemporary horror films; Its success made it become a franchise. Among other things, he has had small roles in productions such as The Mentalist and Criminal Minds during 2014. A year later he appeared in Music, Friends and Party ( We Are Your Friends 2015), and shortly after in Hawaii 5.0 . In 2016 he made his debut as a director and producer with All At Once , which earned him a best director award at a local festival. In more current times, he was part of Apparition (2019), with a small character. He has some projects coming up, as an actor he will do 10 Things We Should Do Before We Break Up ; and Clover , which he will direct and produce. He will also be in charge of directing the thriller Exploited (2020).
