Julie McCullough is a prominent American actress, as well as a model and stand-up comedian.
Her successful modeling career saw her appear in Playboy magazine in four issues: Playmate of the Month (February 1986), a compilation of her first three shots, post-Growing Pains, plus additional footage (October 1989 ), on the front and as a member of a “Girls of Texas” (February 1985), on the cover and as a member of a “Farmer’s Daughters” (September 1986).

Julie Michelle McCullough was born on January 31, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is said to have received her name Julie from “Oh Julie”, one of the best songs of the 1950s. She has an older brother called Joey McCullough. Her parents divorced when she was four, leading to her mother, Nancy’s second marriage to Herman Paynter, a year later.
Although the model was born and raised in Honolulu, she also spent some of her early years in countries like Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, West Virginia, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, Italy, California and Canada.
As a result of her constant movement from town to town, Julie ended up attending two high schools. The first high school she attended was in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and the second in Allen, Texas.

Julie McCullough started her journey to stardom as a model. It was after graduating from high school in 1983 when a photographer asked her to model for Playboy magazine. She was once the winner of Queen Azalea of Wilmington. She lost the crown afterwards, however, due to the controversy surrounding her appearance as a Playboy center.
As an actress, she has appeared in a number of films and television series, including The Golden Girls, Big Bad Mama II (a 1987 film), Max Headroom, Superboy, The Blob, Robin’s Hoods, Beverly Hills , Drexell’s Class, 90210, Jake, Harry and the Hendersons, The Girls Next Door, May the Horse Be With You, Under the Covers, and the Fatman.
Filled to the brim, she also acts as a comic in banks and has performed at high-profile events such as Laugh Factory, the Palms Hotel and Casino and Hollywood Improv.
