Moran Atias is an Israeli actress and model. She is best known for her roles in the Italian films Gas , Oggi sposi , and Mother of Tears . Fans also know her for her appearance in the 2008 TV series, Crash and her role as Monika in the 2013 film, Third Person . Moran Atias was born on April 9, 1981 in Haifa, Israel to Jewish-Moroccan parents. Atias’ professional acting career began at the age of 15 when she debuted in the Israeli TV series, Out of Focus . This was quickly followed by the Israeli television series Allenby, where she portrayed Mika, a Jewish girl who avoids her childhood secret while living a complex nightlife. In 2003, Atias was rumored to be dating formerRomanian Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu. According to an October 2003 magazine interview, Mutu announced that they had started a romantic relationship after Atias started sending him anonymous text messages. However, the relationship ended barely two months after the relationship started.
A year later, in January 2004, the Israeli actress was reported to have been dating Italian businessman Flavio Briatore. But Atias was quick to dismiss the rumor, insisting that she and Flavio were just friends. She also admitted that her relationship with Mutu was her only first “serious” relationship after breaking up with an Englishman she didn’t name. The actress remained single until September 2009 when, in a brief interview with Muscle And Fitness magazine , she told readers that she was focused on her acting career but would embark on a deep relationship once she found the right man .
