Britt Johnson was born on February 24 in Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley of California, USA. Although her year of birth is not available, it is estimated that she is in her early thirties. She is an American of mixed race. Her father is a black American who served in the US Army, which meant the family was always on the move. Britt is the eldest of three children – a boy and two girls.
Britt Johnson developed a passion for cheerleading from her childhood. During her high school days, she led her cheer, run, and dance teams. However, she focused on sports coverage after watching a Dallas Cowboys football game. She received the full support of her family to achieve her desired lifelong dream, especially from her mother who sadly passed away shortly after Britt’s 13th birthday.
Britt Johnson attended California State University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Communications (major) and Special Event Planning (minor). She then started her career as a broadcaster and journalist in 2007 with an internship at KSEE 24 News, a subsidiary of NBS. From September 2007 to May 2008 she worked there as an intern and acquired various journalistic skills, from script production to editing. While at KSEE, she also took the opportunity to cover numerous sporting events from the sidelines, an experience that increased her confidence in the field.
In June 2014, Britt landed a job on EntertainmentScoop’s “Sports Chick” chat as a red carpet host. In May 2015, she left Entertainment Scoop for the city of Torrance, where she was employed as a sportscaster. 1. She had a “bonus” mom
As previously mentioned, Britt Johnson lost her mother to care for younger siblings when she was a teenager. The tragic event was very devastating, but a woman named Ronda Lu McCormick helped them through it. Ronda, who may be related or somehow related to her extended family, has made it her mission to raise Britt and her siblings. Sadly, McCormick passed away on August 7, 2018 after battling cancer for three years.
2. Britt is a wellness/fitness advocate
Aside from her career in sports broadcasting, Britt Johnson is an advocate of a healthy lifestyle. She is consequently a vegetarian and encourages people to keep fit through her YouTube channel and other outlets available.
