The tragic news of a hunter being shot dead by his own pet dog has surfaced. Ozgur Gevrekoglu, 32, was on a hunting trip with friends when the incident occurred as he was packing up his gear. The new dad placed his loaded shotgun in his car boot, and it is believed that the dog accidentally triggered the weapon with its paw, leading to the fatal shot. Authorities are investigating this unusual death at the Kizlan Plateau in Alacam District, Samsun Province, Turkey. Following the incident, Mr. Gevrekoglu’s body was taken to Alacam State Hospital for an autopsy and then transferred to the state capital, Samsun. Local reports mentioned that he had recently become a father just 10 days before the tragic incident. It was also noted that Ozgur seemed to have owned multiple dogs, although it remains unclear which dog was involved in the unfortunate accident.
